12 Week Combat Saber Program (Sabers provided)

A highly structured 12 week program that brings you through the core fundamentals of saber combat.

At the end of 12 weeks you'll be graded, before being advanced to the 6pm class, where our Head Coach will bring you through more advanced techniques, including double sabers and saber staff combat!

You'll also be able to enter annual tournaments to win real cash, or enrol in our instructor course to get paid to lead Combat Saber classes!

What to expect?

You'll be taught the basics of the single saber system which includes:

- Tactical Triangle Footwork to help you to bridge the attack
- Using evasion angles to effectively counter attack
- Proper Striking mechanics of the single saber
- Fluid slashes, circular slashes and broken strikes
- Striking on the move
- Striking while displacing the body
- Striking the target whilst not being hit

Increasing intensity of duels

You'll also be physically prepared to duel 1 round of 30secs with one opponent, 2 rounds of 30secs with 2 opponents and finally 3 rounds of 30secs with 3 opponents.

What happens after 12 weeks?

The successful completion of the program enables you to join the 6pm senior AND the basic class. You'll also be eligible to join our annual tournaments and also possible instructor roles. On top of all these you'll also be invited to our private Facebook training group where we review every week's duels and more.

How much does it cost?

S$240 per person for 12 x 1 hour sessions. We can accommodate groups of up to 20 participants. Pick your group size by entering the quantity below.

What sabers are provided?

All sabers come with realistic sound effects when you swing or clash them. Blade colors include red, green, blue, violet or fire orange, provided at random.

What happens after purchase?

You will receive a receipt via email for reference. You'll automatically be added to your chosen date's class. Attendance will be taken via pen and paper on arrival.

What do I need to bring?

It's quite a workout, so come in something that you feel comfortable exercising in. Workout gloves are recommended if you want to avoid blisters on your hands. Proper athletic footwear is also required. Strictly NO FLIP FLOPS or SANDALS. Make sure you bring water. Your saber is provided so you don't have to bring anything else.
